AKITA furniture is a family business established in 2000, through the years our customer base has expanded and although only locally advertised the business has been mostly built up by word of mouth.

This web site is designed and set up to make it easier for our existing and new customers to buy our products.  We also deliver FREE to all our customers in the South West of Scotland, we make a small charge for delivery out with this area and to keep costs down we deliver all our customers products ourselves.

Our showroom is based on the main street, in the town of Girvan, from which we deliver to Kilmarnock, Ayr, Cumnock, South Glasgow, East Kilbride, Paisley, Dalmellington, Maybole, Girvan, Ballantrae, Stranraer, Portpatrick, Sandhead, Glenluce, Newton Stewart, Wigtown, Whithorn, Portwilliam, Creetown, Castle Douglas, Gatehouse of Fleet and surrounding areas FREE.

All our furniture is fully guaranteed and delivery times are 14-21 days.  All our bedroom furniture ranges are solid wood, and no part is MDF or chip board, all furniture is assembled but on occassions triple and double wardrobes, which can not be accessed to your property, are assembled in you room at no extra cost.

AKITA furniture have developed by learning over the years to our customers require and we operate a service where it takes the hassle out of buying furniture and we place it in the room you require, we dont just leave it on your doorstep.  We also assemble all pine beds within your property and even place the mattress on it, this applies to Divan Beds.  So you can feel confident when you buy furniture from AKITA we take care of the rest at no extra cost.
